The WATERJET technology using an extremely high-pressure water jet, usually with an abrasive material, allows cutting various materials – from very thin foils to 30 cm thick materials. Unlike plasma or laser cutting, the waterjet cutting does not leave any irregularities on the edges, which would require an additional processing, and the material itself is not affected by the high temperature or mechanical stress nor chemical effects.
Another advantage of the WATERJET technology is the required short machining process preparation time, which in connection with the CNC software allows single and serial production. The waterjet cutting technology is perfect for machining all kinds of metals (such as structural steel, carbon steel, acidproof steel, tool steel, armour steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, galvanized steel; colour metals, for instance aluminium, copper, bronze, brass), glass (standard glass, coated glass, wired glass, bulletproof glass), wood, textiles, rubber, ceramics (porcelain, stoneware, ceramic tiles), natural stones, composites, plastics and many other materials which may cause difficulties in contact with alternative machining techniques.
Waterjet cutting is unrivalled when it comes to machining thin and fragile materials, for instance aluminium metal sheets, thin glass panes, cardboard, paper, plexiglass etc. Another proof for innovation is the fact that the WATERJET technology does not require any chemical substances, consumes relatively low amounts of energy and is environmentally friendly. This is also very significant for us and all others who pay close attention to ecology.
